Keeping things simple was how this Adelaide wedding came to life.

After getting to know each other on a plane journey to Melbourne, Charlotte and Alex’s relationship went from strength to strength and although they’re now married, Alex is still actually waiting for Charlotte to say yes to his proposal! ‘We went to dinner at Windy Point restaurant to celebrate some good news and previously that day I had brought some roses and a candle. Just as we were getting in the car to leave for dinner, I ran inside to set them up under the pretence I’d left the iron on. When we got home, Charlotte entered the house first and saw the flowers and candle, she turned around to see me on one knee and was speechless.  I’m still waiting for her to say YES!,’ said Alex.

When it came to planning, they intentionally kept things as easy as possible by dismissing anything that was going to become complicated. Deciding to change their venue just 3 weeks before the big day could have been complicated but was a decision they made for the best as everything ran smoothly and they enjoyed every nano second.

All of the details and emotion were captured by husband and wife duo Jessica and Dylan from Lilac in Hand and their decision to have both city scape portraits mixed with country inspired bridal party photos is a true highlight. Adelaide lovers, this one is for you…..
