With views of the rolling Adelaide Hills, it was The Lane winery that won the hearts of Samantha and Steven to celebrate their big day.

Having met at the gym back in 2013, these two quickly knew it was meant to be however Samantha didn’t quite believe it when Steven proposed…. ‘Steve had told me that we were going out to dinner and began acting a little bit weird and suss on the details. I had just walked out of the bathroom when he asked me. I was so surprised that I was convinced he was lying to me so I finally said yes after 10 tense minutes!’

With all of their wedding plans falling into place, it was just their first dance that didn’t quite go to plan on the day. ‘Our first dance to Elle Golding’s ‘How long will I love you?’ was our best moment. I was doing fine all day and didn’t cry during the ceremony but as soon as our song came on and we started to dance, all my emotions got the best of me. I also saw Steve have a few tears in his eyes which made me cry even more. We had practised a few turns and spins that we had planned to do but once we got up on the dance floor I couldn’t remember so we just stayed close to each other.’

And to prove that everything else went without a hitch, here are some images of their day shot by the team at Lilac in Hand Photography.
