For Barossa Bride Kristal and Groom Adam, their wedding was all about embracing the day with their closest friends and family keeping it as simple as possible by focusing on great music, food and laughter.

Having been together for quite some time it was during an early morning hike near their home in Williamstown that Adam popped the question. “Our engagement was beautiful, simple and long overdue!” Kristal mentioned.

Their wedding day included many unique and quirky DIY details including a simple tipi inspired arbour which framed the stunning bushland backdrop perfectly. With a family business that makes wooden products it seemed fitting for Kristal’s Father to contribute to the day with a new family heirloom. “Thanks to my dad, he made us a beautiful wine barrel swing, cake stand & wishing well which we will keep and pass down to the next generation.”

When it came to planning they quickly realised that there was quite alot to do in organising their day but found that old school lists helped to keep things under control. “Lists were my best friend… With so much going on before the wedding, having these lists to check and cross off was a life saver. I also learnt towards the end of the wedding to delegate a few tasks which really helped too.”

They also highly praised their photographer for the day Zoe Campbell. “Zoe really knows what she is doing and I liked that she helped give us direction with our photos on the day.”

You can meet Zoe at our Adelaide wdding expo on 10th July 2016 at Norwood Concert Hall!
