This farm wedding in the Barossa was an intentionally laid back celebration embracing plenty of authentic rustic details.

For bride Elizabeth, it was becoming pretty clear that her other half was intending to pop the question since they had been looking at engagement rings for well over a year.  However, with a reputation for never initiating events, Elizabeth was quite taken aback when her now Husband organised a special meal at super romantic Windy point to make it official!

They both immediately got stuck into making wedding plans on the family farm with Elizabeth managing to score plenty of props within the farm to include in their wedding day styling. ‘All the signs were old doors or things I found around the farm including the wishing well.  We also found old bits of machinery from my father in-law’s farm and used big round hay bails as our ceremony backdrop.’

Having organised her big day in just a mere 8 weeks there was just one thing that Elizabeth wanted more than anything; a rainbow cake.  Thanks to her Mum making a few sneaky calls to the cake maker her dream cake came true!
