Despite some rain on their big day, newlyweds Jacqui and Jason just grabbed a brolly and got on with celebrating all day… and all night!

After a fancy proposal in Melbourne with only the finest champagne and oysters, there was only one place bride Jacqui wanted to get married and that was on her family farm.  ‘I had always dreamed of having my wedding day on the farm as I’ve had many milestone birthdays held there and it also gave us the freedom to do so the other venues wouldn’t allow as we really wanted to have the free range to party all night’ says Jacqui.

Just about every aspect of this boho inspired McLaren Vale wedding was DIY including the use of ‘Pa’s old Jag’ and the cake made by Jason but with the help of friends and family they managed to pull it all together. Even Teddy the farm dog got in on the action as ring protector!

Looking back on their day they wouldn’t change a thing – even the weather and the mud stains on her dress and as they begin their lives together as the McCoppins, they reflect on what it is to them to be married.  ‘It’s about a lifelong commitment to the one that we love so much that life wouldn’t be the same without. It’s also about communication and trust.’
