Naomi and Sashas loved-filled wedding day in the city was perfection from start to finish – except that is for the Brides Sister falling over into some mud!

‘I really shouldn’t laugh but my sisters biggest fear was falling over in her heels. We kept telling her she’d be fine but she fell over in the mud during photos. Thank God for baby wipes!’ says Naomi who interestingly drew most of her inspiration from her wedding dress. ‘With its sheer fabric and art deco beading, it had an almost old world feel to it’ which the couple combined with a palette of pink and gold; their favourite colours.

With an already large bridesmaid squad, Naomi and Sasha also turned tradition on its head by having Sashas sisters and cousins in the groom’s party who looked incredible in their black and white custom made suits to match the guys.

The bride also touchingly handmade their wedding bands using gold that Naomi’s parents were given by their families on their wedding day.

Having created a day that included so many creative and quirky touches it stands to reason why Naomi’s favourite moment was walking down the aisle at Ayers House ‘Walking in and seeing our vision for the day brought to life with the room filled with our family and friends and my husband Sash at the end of the room was such a beautiful moment.’

In pulling their day together they enlisted a number of vendors and speak so highly of them all including their talented photographer Rene from Blush & Mint Photography who documented the day so beautifully.
