Newlyweds Peri & Oscar are proof that a cold wintery wedding can still be full of warmth, heart and soul.

Despite it being such a cold and windy day, everyone was warmed by the love that these two have for each other at this beautiful Barossa wedding.

Peri and Oscar maintained a worldwide long distance relationship for many years between New Zealand, Sweden, The Netherlands and Australia featuring as a base for their careers, love of travel and adventure.

The setting for their heartfelt celebrations was the unique stone barn and gardens of Dimchurch Vineyards at Ebenezer in the Northern Barossa region.  Peri has been a florist for some time and was always going to make sure her big day was beautifully presented and with the help of Fleur Social they pulled together a stunning backdrop for both the ceremony and reception.

With plenty of photo locations within a short drive from the venue, they set out with photographer Pete from What Pete Shot where they were faced with biting wind and rain. But, knowing that Winter gives amazing soft light that makes shooting a dream, Pete was unexpectedly blessed with 15 minutes of cracking light which of course he took full advantage of.  With Peri and Oscar’s genuine affection for each other, Pete was able to capture some shots that we think completely capture the essence of who they both are.
