This laid back rustic wedding in the Adelaide Hills was all about good food, wine and company.

Rachel and David first met by chance at a hotel in the CBD but David nearly shot cupid in the face by putting pizza before finding his soul mate in life…..! ‘As we walked into the dining area, Rachel whispered to her friend that I was cute. One of my colleagues heard this and made a big song and dance about it. He wanted me to sit next to her but I answered no, I am hangry and want a pizza first! I kept Rachel waiting for at least 2 hours before I sat next to her and spoke to her. We found out quickly that we both have a love for food and the rest, as they say, is history.’

After popping the question in a hot air balloon above the Barossa Valley they set about creating a laid-back wedding at Goldings Winery and it goes without saying that food was very much a centre of attention on the day.

Entering their reception to the theme tune of Darth Vadar’s Imperial song was a quirky choice but by no means a reflection of the reception that they had planned which was full of music, fun and laughter. As captured by Ivory Fox Photography.
